Get Hired as a “Support Resident” and Help a Young Person Move Forward in Life
At “Netværket”, Kolding Municipality, you can make a difference for another young person while we offer a low rent of approx. DKK 1,000/month incl. utilities, in Kolding city + salary.
You are approx. 20–29 years old and would like to be a roommate with a young person aged 15–23. You get your own private room and share the rest of the apartment with the young person.
Together, you can create a stable everyday life; you are already working or studying and would like to share some of your time with a young person who needs someone to look up to.
The municipality/Netværket is responsible for the young person’s development, and therefore a Youth Consultant is connected to the apartment and available for both you and the young person.
The Youth Consultant has the pedagogical responsibility for the young person and will be your collaboration partner within Netværket.
In daily life, you will act as a support for the young person in relation to everyday tasks. This may include helping with grocery shopping, getting up in the morning, going for a walk, or something else entirely. These tasks are agreed upon between you, the young person, and the Youth Consultant, based on the young person’s needs.
There is plenty of opportunity to maintain your own life as well, as we expect you to spend up to 6 hours per week, which is of course paid.
If you dream of working with people, this is a great steppingstone and a valuable addition to your CV.
